Since 2000, Trans Anguilla Airways Engineering’s sister Department [Gumbs Aircraft Maintenance Limited] does all the maintenance on our aircraft. Accredited with being the first company in Anguilla to receive PART 145 maintenance licensing, the airline adheres to the highest international maintenance airworthiness requirements.

Backed by a staff of five {with over 30 years of aviation experience} comprising of A Chief Engineer, Quality manager, mechanics and duplicate inspectors TAA ensures that the strictest of standards are adhered to with your safety in mind.

Our maintenance schedules keep our aircraft in top shape for your comfort. Once a year our staff takes apart the planes piece by piece, inspecting the landing gears, parts and components, equivalent to “C-Checks” of major airlines.

Once the Maintenance crew have taken the plane apart, inspected it thoroughly, and the Airworthiness Directives and service bulletins complied with, it all gets put back together again with every nut and bolt given fine attention to detail.

Each aircraft must then undergo ground simulation operation test and run-up’s before it is released back to service. Each aircraft has to be in top working condition according to strict maintenance requirements. TAA’s pilots and Engineers work closely to ensure the optimum performance of the aircraft is met. It's our top priority to ensure the safety of every person who flies on our aircraft.

Maintenance oversight is provided by the UK CAA licensing department Air Safety Support International [ASSI].
