Bangkok Airport (BKK) is located 25 kilometres (16 miles) north of the city of Bangkok. A second Bangkok international airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport, is set to receive passenger traffic from 2006. Suvarnabhumi Airport is approximately 25 kilometres (16 miles) from downtown Bangkok in the Bang Phli district.
