Johannesburg International Airport Car Parking

Introduction

Johannesburg Airport has one underground, one multi-storey and four ground-level car parks, mostly located close to the terminal building. Shuttle bus and golf cart services operate between the more remote parking areas every five to six minutes.

There are two systems of payment: the pay-on-foot and the SpeedPark schemes. The pay-on-foot pay station system requires the appropriate fee to be paid on arrival, with the endorsed ticket used to activate the barrier on exit. The SpeedPark system uses a prepaid, rechargeable card, with extra benefits for the corporate or frequent visitor, and is available from the First Park office at the airport.
