London Gatwick Airport (LGW) is England's second busiest airport after Heathrow, serving over 30 million passengers each year to 200 destinations worldwide. BAA Gatwick is also notable as the world's sixth busiest airport that serves more US, Canadian and Caribbean destinations than any other UK airport, and as a base for charter flights to Europe.
Located 28 miles (45 kms) south of London, BAA Gatwick International Airport is well integrated with the transport system of England’s capital city, and offers excellent road and rail links to the surrounding south-east region of England. Gatwick Airport is signposted from the M25 London ring road and can normally be reached within an hour by car from central London. Each day over 900 train and 40 express coaches service Gatwick Airport, including the Gatwick Express every 15 minutes, with direct trains to London Victoria and London Bridge stations.
Gatwick's two terminals, the North and South Terminals, provide passengers with the most modern facilities, with extensive amenities for business travellers, families and those with special needs.
