General Lost and found
Travellers are urged to call their airline first if they think they have lost an item. The Airport Police Lost and Found should only be contacted after passengers have checked any restaurants, taxis, buses or other services they have used.
The airport police are located at 5600 W. Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045. And their contact number is (424) 646- LOST (5678). They are open from 8am – 2pm Monday to Friday.
Items Left Behind the Security-Gates
For any items that are left behind the security checkpoints such as mobile phones and laptops, passengers should get in touch with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) directly:

Advice direct from the airport regarding any items (mobile phones, laptops, cameras etc) left at the secutiry check points: "Since TSA has taken over the responsibility of passenger and checked baggage screening, all items left behind at security checkpoints are logged, collected and secured. Once passengers contact the TSA Lost & Found to claim and verify their item, arrangements are made for in person retrieval from 5757 W. Century Blvd."
Left Luggage and Luggage Storage
While there are no luggage lockers or storage facilities at the airport, LAX Luggage Storage is a company which provides an off-site luggage storage service by collecting and delivering your items directly to your terminal at a pre-arranged time.
Rates: Prices start at $5 per day for a small bag such as a briefcase to $12 per day for a bicycle, snowboard or similar bulky item.
