Manchester Airport (MAN) is the UK's third largest airport, and the principal airport for the north-west region of England. An independent airport, Manchester hosts over 90 airlines, flying to around 180 destinations worldwide.
Manchester Airport is located 10 miles (16 kms) south of the city of Manchester, halfway between London and Edinburgh. MAN is well served by train, bus and coach services, with fast road links via the M56 motorway, and offering direct access to junction 5. There are taxi ranks outside each terminal.
