Terminals
The Terminal Complexes of the Norfolk International Airport cover an area of 643,000 square feet and has undergone an improvement and expansion program designed to upgrade its functionality to meet today's standards and future growth needs.
The terminal complex of the Norfolk International Airport has been divided into two sections, the Main Terminal and the New Arrivals Terminal. The terminals offer several services and facilities which include restaurants and shops, Airport Ambassadors, business center, postal services, facilities for the disabled, information desk and banking facilities.
The major airlines operating in the terminals of the Norfolk International Airport include United Express, Southwest Airlines, US Airways, American Airlines, Continental Airways, and Northwest Airlines. Ground Transportation services at the Norfolk International Airport are available just outside of the airport terminals.
Parking lots of the Norfolk International Airport are situated adjacent to the terminal complexes as five level and nine level garages as well as a surface parking lot for oversized vehicles.

The CI Travel / Business Service Center at the Norfolk International Airport offers several thoughtful services for business travelers arriving at the airport. The facility for foreign currency exchanges is available at the CI Travel / Business Service Center at the Norfolk International Airport.
Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs)
Branch Banking and Trust (BB and T) banking services are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. In addition to this, ATMs are also available at the Norfolk International Airport. ATMs can be found on the second level of the Main Terminal and on both concourses of the airport.

Tourist Information
Tourists arriving at the Norfolk International Airport can request for information at the Military / Visitor Information Center located on the level of the terminal. In addition to this, many Airport Ambassadors offering assistance are available throughout the airport.
Medical Facilities
Automated External Defibrillators have been conveniently positioned throughout the airport. They are located on both levels of the Main Terminal, both concourses, and also at the Arrivals Terminal of the airport.
Disabled Facilities
Elevators
The Main Passenger Terminal, Arrivals Terminal, and parking garages at the airport conveniently feature elevator facilities. All elevators of the airport feature raised markings on the control buttons.
Restrooms
All restrooms feature one cubicle with a raised toilet seat designed for travelers with disabilities. The cubicles are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. Hand rails, full length mirrors, and low-level paper towel dispensers / hand dryers are some of the other features specially designed for disabled travelers.
Drinking Fountain
All water fountains in the airport terminal are of a convenient height for wheelchairs access.
Telephones
All telephones are wheelchair accessible at the Norfolk International Airport. The telephones feature raised lettering and volume control. As a convenience for travelers with hearing impairments, teletypewriters can be found on the 2nd level of the Main Terminal Lobby, concourse A and B, and the Arrivals Terminal.
