Kansai International Airport Ground Transportation
Introduction
Express trains, buses, ferry services and taxis connect Kansai International Airport with the cities of Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and other destinations in the Kansai area.
Train Services
Nankai Railway express trains link Kansai airport station with Namba station (Osaka area). Standard journey time from the airport to Namba is about 35 minutes; the train does stop at other points along the way.
JR West trains (Kansai airport line), that provides both stadard and express services, connect the airport with Kyoto and Kyobashi. The train makes regular stops at various points along the way.
Both Nankai Railway and JR West trains connect with other parts of the national rail network.
Bus Services
Bus services are available outside the international departures section.
Bus services link the airport with various stops in Osaka, Kyoto and other neighbouring cities and towns, including including Osaka (Itami) Airport and the Osaka Railway Station.
Ferry Services
A fast ferry service links the airport with Sumoto.
Bus services connect the passenger terminal with the ferry terminal.
Taxi
At Kansai airport the taxi ranks are located outside the first floor of the passenger terminal. Taxis provide transport to and from Osaka and neighbouring areas, including Osaka (Itami) Airport. Other cities served include Hyogo, Nara, Kyoto, Shiga and Wakayama.
