Disabled Facilities
People with reduced mobility can be escorted and assisted through all steps of the departure or arrival process - passport control, check-in or baggage reclaim and customs. At Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, passengers with reduced mobility will have priority access at every stage of the security procedures.
To make your time at Charles de Gaulle airport as comfortable and pleasant as possible, the following facilities exist within the terminals:
Effective highlighting of terminal entrances (white or red bands), and moving walkways and escalators (yellow bands).
Automatic ticket dispensers have been adapted for ease of use by wheelchair-bound passengers.
Seats inside all airport terminals have been modified to make it easier for those who have trouble getting up.
Waiting areas within each of the terminals have been equipped with induction loops for those travellers who are hearing-impaired.
Public telephone booths have been lowered.
Toilets are standards compliant, and have been adapted to allow access by wheelchair-bound passengers.
Airport Assistance
Disabled passengers may contact the airport to have someone meet them on arrival to assist them on their transit through the airport. The airport should be contacted via the customer assistance terminals, located just outside the entrance of each terminal.
Disabled Parking
Specialty parking spaces are allocated for travelers with disabilities. These are located in each of the airport's parking lots. Disabled travellers are also able to pay half price for their parking. In order to utilise the discount you will need to present a GIC-GIG permit.
