Medical Facilities
Medical
If emergency medical assistance is required, officers at the Phoenix Police Department Airport Bureau are all certified in the use of Automated Electronic Defibrillators (AEDs).
Missing Baggage
All items lost on an airplane are considered to be the responsibility of the airline. Items lost in any other area of the airport may have been turned into the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Lost and Found office. The office is located in annex building just west of the Operations Center, in between Terminals 2 and 3. The address is 3300 E. Sky Harbor Boulevard, Phoenix, Arizona 85034. The lost and found office is open from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. To provide assistance several baggage service offices are located within close proximity to the baggage claims of all terminals.
Help for Lost Travelers
Navigators, dressed in purple shirts or blazers with a big "ASK ME" button and the Navigators logo, are available to provide assistance with information and the location of facilities at the airport, local attractions, and best travel routes. Additionally, the airport features a Travelers Aid, located on level 3 of Terminal 4 in the Chapel to assist travelers who need special care.
Paging Assistance Locations
Special machines have been set up so that visitors can now send and receive messages while at the airport. Go to the PAL (Paging Assistance Location) machine to send a message that will be displayed on terminals and broadcast on speakers, or to read messages.
Disabled Facilities
Airport authorities have provided many conveniences for disabled travelers. All gate areas and lobbies are accessible by ramp; automatic doors and elevators should enable relatively easy movement through the airport. Cars with disability plates or permits are able to stop at designated areas on the inner curbs of all terminals.
Telephone Booths
Hearing-aid compatible, amplified, and text telephones (TTY) are available in every terminal at the airport. TTY phones are located on each level and baggage claim in all terminals. Payphones are wheelchair accessible.
