San Francisco Airport SFO has several parking options with each terminal, Domestic and International, having its own dedicated Short Term parking lots in additional to a separate Long Term parking lot located a short distance from the terminal buildings.
Parking Costs
Short Term/Hourly Parking
$2 per 20 minutes up to a maximum of $24 per 24-hour period.
Long Term Parking
$2 per 20 minutes up to a maximum of $15 per 24-hour period.
Valet Parking
The valet parking area is located in the Domestic Terminal’s parking garage. The service costs $24 for the first 24-hours and up to $45 per 24h-hour period after that.
Pick-up and Drop-off Area
The airport has a Cell Phone Waiting Lot located near the Long Term parking garage, a short distance from the terminal buildings. It allows a maximum waiting time of an hour and is closed from 1am until 5am.
Parking Shuttle Service
San Francisco International Airport's long-term parking facility and shuttle buses operate 24 hours a day. Frequent shuttle service runs every 5 minutes to 15 minutes (depending on the time of day). Electronic displays in the garage keep you informed as to when the next bus is due. Also, SFO buses have priority loading zones at each terminal for quick passenger access.
Other Parking Options
ParkFAST - Express Parking
This is the loyalty service offered at SFO Airport for travellers who want to access convenient parking without queueing. It bypasses the general entrance and registered customers should just swipe their card to quickly enter and exit.
Bicycle Parking and Bike Storage
There are five complimentary bicycle parking areas at San Francisco Airport. These are located on level 4 of the domestic garage, level 1 of international garages A and G, level 1 of the rental car center and in the Westfield Garage. They can parked for up to 14 days however users should register them if they intend to keep them there for longer than a day.
Disabled Parking
This is provided in all garages. In the Domestic and International garages the spaces are located next to the elevators and in the long-term parking they are on the first floor.
Regarding heights, vehicles over 6’6 cannot be parked iin the Domestic Garage and should go to Valet Parking instead. In the International Garage the maximum height is 8’2 and in long-term parking the limit is 9’.
