Singapore Airport Ground Transportation

Introduction

Singapore Airport is well linked to the city by good road access and public transport. Limousines, taxis and buses speed travellers over the 20 kilometres from airport to city.

Shuttle Services

Six-seater Mercedes MaxiCab taxis shuttle travellers from SIN-Changi to the Central Business District and to most hotels in Singapore (Le Meridien Changi and hotels in Sentosa are not served by this shuttle). Service counters are located in the arrival halls of Terminals 1 and 2 opposite the customs gates. The service runs from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm daily. Shuttles leave when full or at 15-minute intervals between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm and every 30 minutes between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Bus Services

The bus stations are located in the lower levels of Terminals 1 and 2. Buses run from 6:00 am to midnight and take between 30 minutes to an hour to reach the city centre. Buses charge a flat fare. Please note that change is not available and travellers should ensure that Singaporean coinage is carried for payment.

Taxi Services

Taxis

A taxi rank is situated outside Terminal 1 arrivals hall on Level 1 and another is located at the south end of Terminal 2 arrivals hall on Level 1. Journeys are metered and charged accordingly.

Limousine Taxis

Limousine taxis may be booked in the arrival halls on Level 1 of Terminals 1 and 2. The counters are situated opposite the customs gates. Mercedes taxis and London cabs carry passengers from 6:00 am to 1:30 am daily.

Private Car Pick-up Point

Terminal 1 private car pick-up point is located on Level B1. Terminal 2 private car pick-up point is located on the north side of Level 1.
