Sydney Airport Ground Transportation
Introduction
Sydney Airport is served directly by train, shuttle bus, public bus and taxi.
Trains
T1 International Terminal and the Domestic Terminals (T2 and T3) both offer fast train services to and from Sydney city centre, with convenient connections to Sydney suburban stations.
Travllers have a choice of two stations - one directly underneath the T1 International Terminal and one underneath the Domestic Terminals (T2 and T3). Signage is good; lifts are available.
Shuttle Services
From the international terminal the Kingsford Smith Transport / Sydney Airporter service runs shuttle buses to various accommodation options in the Kings Cross, City and Darling Harbour areas. Some hotels provide shuttle services. A host of operators also provide shuttle services to and from the center and suburbs of Sydney. Pre-booking may be necessary. Travellers are requested to contact their local travel agent for further details.
Taxis
Each terminal has its own sheltered taxi rank with supervisors on hand during peak hours. At the T1 International Terminal taxis are available, or may be booked, to provide services for passengers with special needs (wheelchair access, baby capsules, maxi taxis etc.); and these services are also available from the taxi ranks at the Domestic Terminals.
Buses
The green and gold Airport Express bus offers services along several fixed routes between the Domestic and International Terminals and the City and Kings Cross area, and some suburbs. Services run daily, usually between 5am and 11pm.
Route 300 goes to and from Sydney City; Routes 300 and 350 link to Central Station; Route 350 goes to and from Kings Cross, Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay.
