Wellington International Airport Terminals

Introduction

A single terminal complex serves both domestic and international arrivals and departures. The terminal of Wellington International Airport consists of 20,000 square metres, 29 boarding gates, 36 check-in desks and several passenger facilities.

Traveller services provided at Wellington International Airport include restaurants, food outlets, bakery and coffee shop, restrooms, ATMs, currency exchange, gift shops, bookshops, clothes stores, music shops, VIP lounges, business and conference centre, chemist, travel agent, tourist help desk, first aid services and baby changing rooms.

Facilities for the handicapped passengers include a variety of services such as fully accessible restrooms, lifts with Braille numbers, wheelchairs and special assistance from uniformed staff. Wellington Airport Conference Centre is located inside the terminal and has seven rooms with a capacity to host 120 people. Audiovisual equipment, technical support, videoconferencing and catering are available, as well as office equipment, including photocopying and fax facilities. Several airlines provide lounges for loyal business class passengers and club members.
